A beautiful art print of Pulteney Bridge in Bath. It is a digital copy of my original illustration and is printed on quality paper in A4 or A3 sizes. These are standard sizes and easy to mount and frame. There is a white border around the image to allow for the signature. Some photos show how lovely the print will look framed, but please note that the print is sold unframed and without a mount.
I sign all the prints in pencil in the bottom right and include the title of the print.
Pulteney Bridge was completed by 1774. It was built to connect the fashionable city of Bath with the land of the Pulteney family which they wished to develop. It was designed by Robert Adam in a Palladian style, and is highly unusual in that it has shops built across its full span on both sides. It is one of only four bridges in the world like this (the others being in Florence, Venice, and Erfurt, Germany).
The picturesque weir just downstream from Pulteney Bridge was first built in the late Middle Ages to prevent the river from flooding the town of Bath.
I will send A4 and A3 prints by Royal Mail, presented in a cello bag with a cardboard back for protection or onward delivery. International deliveries may be sent rolled in a tube.
