Description
Boats at Uphill shows the boatyard at Uphill, beneath the hill and the Old Church of St Nicholas. This is not one of those new, sparkly and expensive marinas, with pricey flats and cafes all around – it is a simple and quiet little spot, with small yachts drawn up on the grassy banks above the muddy River Axe.
The village of Uphill is at the far end of the beach from the seaside town of Weston-super-Mare and the River Axe exits into Weston Bay here at the end of its journey from the caves of the Mendip Hills.
A great card for lovers of linocut art, boats or Weston-super-Mare. It would also look good framed! Another card featuring the Weston-super-Mare area is Beach Donkey.
