Description
Cheddar Gorge is a beautiful art print or poster in my Somerset series.
This is a digital copy of my original illustration and is printed on quality paper in A4 or A3 sizes. These are standard sizes and easy to mount and frame. There is a white border around the image to allow for the signature. Some photos show how lovely the print will look framed, but please note that the print is sold unframed and without a mount.
I sign all the prints in pencil in the bottom right and include the title of the print.
Cheddar Gorge is a spectacular landmark in Somerset. A narrow road cuts through cliffs of limestone, with the Mendip plateau above. The gorge is just outside the village of Cheddar. It was created by the river Yeo, which now flows underground, creating caves in the rocks – for which the area is also famous. The well-known local cheese was traditionally left to mature in some of these caves (and some cheddar cheese is still matured in this way today).
I will send A4 and A3 prints by Royal Mail, presented in a cello bag with a cardboard back for protection or onward delivery. International deliveries may be sent rolled in a tube.
