Description
This beautiful travel poster of Constable Country shows Willy Lott’s cottage at Flatford Mill beside the river Stour. This lovely Suffolk countryside inspired John Constable, England’s foremost landscape artist of the 18th-century. This was the area he grew up in and loved, and this building featured in several of his paintings.
Constable’s fame has helped to ensure that this picturesque part of Suffolk – usually known as “Constable Country” has remained protected as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Enjoyable lowland walks and boating trips await any visitor.
This is a digital copy of my original illustration and is printed on quality paper in A4 or A3 sizes. These are standard sizes and easy to mount and frame. There is a white border around the image to allow for the signature. Some photos show how lovely the print will look framed, but please note that the print is sold unframed and without a mount.
I sign all the prints in pencil in the bottom right and include the title of the print.
I will send A4 and A3 prints by Royal Mail, presented in a cello bag with a cardboard back for protection or onward delivery. International deliveries may be sent rolled in a tube.
