Description
EPPING FORESTÂ is a beautiful art print showing a deer in the forest at dawn.
This is a digital copy of my original illustration and is printed on quality paper in A4 or A3 sizes. These are standard sizes and easy to mount and frame. There is a white border around the image to allow for the signature. Some photos show how lovely the print will look framed, but please note that the print is sold unframed and without a mount.
I sign all the prints in pencil in the bottom right and include the title of the print.
During the 1900s landowners began to enclose Epping Forest to sell off the land for housing development. This angered the common people who had long-standing rights to graze animals and collect firewood in the forest. A protest against enclosure led by Thomas Willingale of Loughton was ultimately successful. It attracted the attention and sympathy of some wealthy and influential people and resulted in the remaining forest being protected for the enjoyment of the public.
Parts of Epping Forest stretch right into East London as far as Forest Gate – providing much-needed greenery in these poorer parts of the capital.
I will send A4 and A3 prints by Royal Mail, presented in a cello bag with a cardboard back for protection or onward delivery. International deliveries may be sent rolled in a tube.
