Description
Hastings, East Hill Lift is a beautiful art print showing the historic funicular railway which still operates in the Old Town. It carries tourists, walkers and some residents from the fishing fleet end of the beach at Hastings up to the wide open spaces of Hastings Country Park, where you can walk for miles around the coast through beautiful scenery.
I used to work on the East Hill Lift (or Cliff Railway) and the views as you ride up (and from the control cabin at the top) are spectacular. Hastings is fortunate to have two Victorian funicular railways – both still operational.
This is a digital copy of my original illustration and is printed on quality paper in A4 or A3 sizes. These are standard sizes and easy to mount and frame. There is a white border around the image to allow for the signature. Some photos show how lovely the print will look framed, but please note that the print is sold unframed and without a mount.
I sign all the prints in pencil in the bottom right and include the title of the print.
I will send A4 and A3 prints by Royal Mail, presented in a cello bag with a cardboard back for protection or onward delivery. International deliveries may be sent rolled in a tube.
