Description
A beautiful art print of the Roman Baths in Bath. It is a digital copy of my original illustration and is printed on quality paper in A4 or A3 sizes. These are standard sizes and easy to mount and frame. I sign all the prints in pencil in the bottom right and include the title of the print. There is a white border around the image to allow for the signature. Please note that the print is sold unframed and without a mount.
Bath exists largely due to the natural hot springs in the area. The Romans were delighted to find them, and were able to create an extensive bathing and temple complex here – dedicated to Sulis Minerva, a Roman-British goddess. The Roman Baths were rediscovered in the Medieval period and then renovated in the Georgian era. The Georgians turned Bath into one of the most beautiful and fashionable places in the country.
The Roman Baths are open to the public and really interesting – with plenty of relics and recreations of Roman life to see.
A4 and A3 prints will be sent by Royal Mail and presented in a cello bag with a cardboard back for protection or onward delivery. International deliveries may be sent rolled in a tube.
