Description
This beautiful travel poster of St Ninian’s Isle, Shetland is inspired by the vintage railway posters advertising the joys of British travel. It shows the amazing tombolo beach that links St Ninian’s Isle to the Mainland, Shetland. This is the largest tombolo (natural sand causeway) in the UK.
Buried treasure was found on the island in 1958 by a schoolboy – a hoard of silver artefacts from the 8th century buried in the safety of a long-forgotten chapel.
This is a digital copy of my original illustration and is printed on quality paper in A4 or A3 sizes. These are standard sizes and easy to mount and frame. There is a white border around the image to allow for the signature. Some photos show how lovely the print will look framed, but please note that the print is sold unframed and without a mount.
I sign all the prints in pencil in the bottom right and include the title of the print.
I will send A4 and A3 prints by Royal Mail, presented in a cello bag with a cardboard back for protection or onward delivery. International deliveries may be sent rolled in a tube.
