Swansea Grand Theatre, Wales is an illustrated portrait of this large Victorian theatre in Wales’ second city.
The Swansea Grand Theatre opened in 1897. It has over 1000 seats, plus additional small studio spaces.
The Swansea Grand was in danger of demolition in the 1960s but, luckily there was a campaign to save it. Ultimately the local council intervened and purchased the theatre.
At the turn of the century the Swansea Grand was much upgraded with a new Studio Theatre seating 150 people, rehearsal rooms and a roof top café and bar.
Some of the photos show how great it will look framed, but please note that the print is sold unframed and without a mount.
All prints are individually signed by me, the artist, in pencil in the bottom right and include the title of the print.
Your print will be sent by Royal Mail and presented in a cello bag with a cardboard back for protection or onward delivery.
