Description
This is my portrait of the Theatre Royal Bath at night. It is a digital copy of my original illustration and is printed on quality paper in A4 or A3 sizes. These are standard sizes and easy to mount and frame. There is a white border around the image to allow for the signature. Some photos show how lovely the print will look framed, but please note that the print is sold unframed and without a mount.
I sign all the prints in pencil in the bottom right and include the title of the print.
This historic theatre was built in 1805 and has been described by the Theatres Trust as “One of the most important surviving examples of Georgian theatre architecture”.
Money was raised to built the theatre through a Tontine – an unusual investment plan which is a cross between a group annuity and a lottery. The same method of funding was used to build Bath’s famous Assembly Rooms.
The Theatre Royal often hosts famous actors and major new plays. Many plays start here before their official opening in London.
A4 and A3 prints will be sent by Royal Mail and presented in a cello bag with a cardboard back for protection or onward delivery. International deliveries may be sent rolled in a tube.
Available options: Paper size: A4 (210 x 297mm or 8.3 x 11.7 inches).
