Description
Winchelsea Beach colour linocut is a relief print inspired by a local seaside village which has quirky wooden houses, streams, fields of pebbles, a nature reserve and beach.
This linocut is inspired by an Open Garden visit to Winchelsea Beach, where I was delighted to discover charming lanes of old-style wooden chalets, streams, and a nature reserve tucked between the road to Rye and the sea.
Winchelsea Beach colour linocut is a hand-pulled linocut in water-based inks in a small edition of 50. The image size is just under A3 size (40cm by 29cm). It is printed on acid-free paper and signed by me, and sent with a backing board and white mount so that it can easily be framed in a standard A2 size frame.
Each print in the edition is inked up and pressed individually, resulting in some slight differences between each print – making each one a unique work of art.
I send smaller prints wrapped in cellophane in a reinforced envelope or parcel. Larger prints or international deliveries may be sent rolled in a tube with protective tissue.
