The Dorset Illustrated Map poster is beautiful artwork celebrating this lovely English county. The print shows many of the most-loved places and attractions of this delightful part of England, illustrated by Fiona Horan.

Dorset is famous as the setting of many of the novels of Thomas Hardy, and for its Jurassic Coast – a World Heritage Site.

This map is full of interest for residents of Dorset and visitors alike! Ideal wall decor for a guest house, holiday home, club, caravan or even a well-appointed beach hut!

Dorset’s prime attraction may be its honey-coloured seaside cliffs and many coastal resorts (such as Bournemouth, Weymouth, Swanage and Lyme Regis) but its quiet interior is also memorable. This is an unexpectedly ancient rural landscape dotted with stone age and iron age remnants, and villages built of the warm-coloured local stone. A county with no cities and over half of its area protected as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is certainly “far from the madding crowd”.

This is a hand signed art print or poster from my original illustration. It is available in A4, A3 or A2 sizes, which are standard sizes and easy to mount and frame.

I send prints by Royal Mail. A4 and A3 prints are presented in a cello bag with a cardboard back for protection or onward delivery. A2 prints will be sent in a tube. International or multiple orders may also be sent in a tube.
