St Martin’s Theatre London at night
This quality greetings card features my original portrait of the St Martin’s Theatre, in London, at night – long time home of whodunnit play The Mousetrap.
A great card for anyone who loves London, or the world of British theatre! Or to enclose theatre tickets to your chosen companion for a theatrical evening? It would also look good framed!
The St Martin’s Theatre was built as a non-identical twin to the Ambassador’s Theatre next door. It opened in 1916, and is a beautiful small theatre with wood-panelled walls.
I worked in the Box Office here for a time. If you buy tickets for the show here, note that much of the auditorium is underground, so the Stalls (more expensive seats closer to the stage) actually have the most stairs.
