Winchelsea Beach greetings card – the illustration is taken from my large colour linocut of Winchelsea Beach in East Sussex. This is a small village tucked away between the road to Rye and the English Channel. A lot of the houses are wooden chalets plus a few old railway carriages, surrounded by gravelly gardens of poppies and lavender. Lanes wander past houses, nature reserves and secret gardens. Beyond is the sea wall and the beach.
